JIC vs. Greddy? Exhaust help

I'm in a bind. I dunno which exhaust I should get, I'm stuck between the Greddy Evo 2 and the JIC ST (stainless piping titanium canister/tip). The price difference is about $300 but I heard the JIC gives 10-12hp more and I haven't heard anything about the Greddy. Also I read a thread about the JIC and he said the JIC was sick and crazy loud. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated

heh i would save as much money as possable when buying a engineered catback...so go magniflow. They all give you about the same power (just at diffrent times).

Thanks I'll look into those. I might just go Magnaflow and then I can use the extra to put into my header funds

I have the JIC Magic catback and it's hella loud. My question for you is where did you hear it gives 10-12 more hp?

I don't remember where I heard that. What did it add to your hp? I think I'm getting the Greddy Evo 2 and Road/Race testpipe

No dyno numbers, but with the piping size (2.5") you can definitely tell that there is a decent bit of power sacrificed low-end for more power top-end.

the best results i've seen are from cars with the magnaflows, test pipes, headers. I'm not saying Greddy is bad or anything but i've personally seen two dyno's that only showed a 1hp difference between greddy and magnaflow. That could have just been a difference in outside air temp. For the money i'd go magnaflow. I've heard that RRM gives discounts if you buy all three at the same time. I believe it was like 40bucks... that's almost the cost of the test pipe. Then they even package them together you save on shipping i think. I'd call and find out.

Boeturbolancer, maybe I'll go w/that setup. Did you find out if there was a package deal?
