RRM pulley 39 mpg's
Well I put a RRM pulley on and i have been getting good gas mileage 420 miles on a full tank and around 39 mpg . Only mod is the pulley.
EDIT - math is incorrect. See posts below. 08LanceRage got roughly 31mpg on that tank. The 39mpg was for that trip, which is how the 2008 measures (per trip, not overall). http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...0rr/mpgs-1.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...000rr/mpgs.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...1000rr/mpg.jpg |
wow, thats pretty cool, i hardly get 420 kms out of mine, which is about 255 miles!!
Ouch $3.03 a gallon, damn California, lol. But ya thats great you are getting those kind of miles, I get about 300 on a full tank.
Yeah Dam Cali prices. I didnt drive the car hard at all when this was done....
What was your mileage before the pulley?
Around 30 mpg , 350miles on a full tank maybe 370 miles i forget. Depends on driving habit
You suck at teh math. 420 miles with 13.3 gallons = 31.5 mpg. Beyond me why the carputer is telling you 39, unless it uses parallel universe math. Anyways, a pulley won't increase your mileage by an amount you can measure with the miles/fill amount method. We're talking tenths or hundreths of a mile per gallon.
Gas is only 3.03 in California? I thought it was supposed to be higher there...I live in Ohio and it's like 3.05 a gallon...damn.
Yeah, I would agree with otter. There is no way you are pullin an extra 50 miles out of a tank or 9 miles more per gallon, with a pulley. We all know that you need the eBay 20hp chip in combination with the tornado super-charger intake aluminum shark tooth ring mod. ;)

I got very similar miles to the tank results which I posted in the MPG thread I typically get a little less though |

That was the reading for his most recent trip not his whole tank....
I got very similar miles to the tank results which I posted in the MPG thread I typically get a little less though Either way I got 420 miles on a full tank , If 39mpg is false I still got 420 on a full tank! Thanks guys... Next time ill keep a gallon of gas in the trunk so i can run the car all the way till it stops. Then I can calculate the true mpg's... lol j/k . |
