Dumb Question but will it Fit on the 2009 GTS?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...52#ht_3705wt_0

Thanks Guys, I Just dont want to dump money for nothing.

it should be the same exhaust. Here is a pic of it installed on my 08 GTS. The only question is, does the 2.4L have the same exhaust, most likely yes.

The exhaust pipe should come right up the center (maybe a little offset to the pass side I think). There it will connect to the big pancake muffler. post a pic or two and one of us should be able to say yay/nay

the other thing with this exhaust is make sure the weld in really good (all the way around) on the hanger for the canister. Mine cracked, got it welded and speed element I think it was re-imbursed me anyways...just the only issue I had, other than that it sounds great, not a rice can sound like it looks. Even a friend at the drag strip saw it and said OMG that thing is huge, then after my run he said it sounded really nice.

brian95638 Oct 7, 2008 07:17 PM

the 08 exhaust fits the 09 lancer.
Sold my rrm to some1 w/ an 09 and no complaints yet.

cRc`22 Oct 7, 2008 09:46 PM

the car is exactly the same.. only difference is the engine slightly..

Defcon5Es Oct 7, 2008 11:05 PM

Same exhaust hangers. No problem

johnholler Oct 9, 2008 06:48 PM

Should be fine. I've got it on my 2009 GT.

Quite happy with it. Great value. Sound isn't as buzzy or tinny as other canister mufflers I've heard. And you can add the silencer to bring the sound right back to stock level. Welds were all good, and the polish is still fine after 6 months.

Thumbs up from me.

Man the exhaust is great man i have had it for about a year now with no regrets, sounds awesome, get complaments on sound, only con is the size, looks like a giant potato launcher :) but doesn't like liek a ricer burner!! You won't look back thats a promise

L.Lancer1 Oct 13, 2008 07:12 PM

i got a eBay knock off Apexi N1 looks good an looks exactly like it. except it came with a burnt tip but thats waring away :( but anyways it came wiht no hangers do you think id need two or just one if i got a custom bent pipe?

CamShaft Oct 31, 2008 04:18 PM

you need 2 hangers at least

cr450f Nov 24, 2008 09:34 PM

is it loud? it looks so much better than the works one i wanted to get and if the tsudo one is loud i want the tsudo one more.

CamShaft Nov 25, 2008 12:03 AM

the tsudo is not that loud, it looks louder than it is, but its a nice sound. Its definitely louder than the RRM exhaust.

JWhat89 Nov 25, 2008 06:57 AM

I have had the tsudo off ebay from speed element, they also sell on their website. I had no issue, other that one cracked weld on a hanger and the re-imbursed me for getting it fixed, other than that no problems and still sounds the same since day 1. And saved over 150$ over the greddy and the greddy sounds too much like a fart can. Just my opinion.

NJ08LancerGTS Nov 25, 2008 02:10 PM

Greddy is the same **** 1 inch smaller exhaust hole with a flamed tip. You are just paying for the name of a bankrupt company.

09GTSLancer Nov 25, 2008 03:31 PM

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
+1
yea not feeling the flamed tip it + even though they fixed the bumper melting problem it always makes me think its gonna do this to the car either way....http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...1-9137_IMG.jpg

machine722 Dec 10, 2008 09:49 PM

does anybody have any other complaints about the tsudo n1 cause im trying to to decide between the tsudo and the works, but i think the works just looks to stock even though it has a nice sound, but im afraid the tsudo is rice......any imput would be much appreciated!!!!

NJ08LancerGTS Dec 11, 2008 07:07 PM

exhaust is best exhaust for the money hands down.

09GTSLancer Dec 11, 2008 07:27 PM

I want the Tsudo N1 Really bad but it looks like if i were to lower the car with teins it would hit/scrape on every driveway... from this video i seen on youtube it looks like its low.

Haddy Dec 12, 2008 04:47 AM

High prices or not, Greddy is bankrupt because of a ton of people buying a ton of cheap Greddy knock-offs on ebay

doctorjon Dec 18, 2008 10:01 PM

Theres nothing wrong with buying generic brands. They do just about the same thing. Its everywhere and you can't do anything about it. Greddy was a great company. You can't blame people for wanting to save money. Theres a difference in gaining hp and having a nice sound. I'm sure i wouldn't want to spend 500+ on a exhaust that was gonna give me little to no power(i.e. the 4g94 engine). Now if i had something honda or a car that can gain hp than expensive parts would matter.

definitely not arguing that their prices aren't a tad steep lol, but at the same time, the reason they were copied so much is because they made good stuff. It just sucks that they decided to ask so much for their stuff.

09GTSLancer Dec 19, 2008 03:58 PM

I just ordered my self a Tsudo N1 Axle Back Exhaust they are having a holiday sale of $169.99+ i got an additional 15% off for making a holiday purchase. Yeah!!! Cant Wait till it gets here!!!!

08gglancer Dec 24, 2008 12:26 PM

How much are you asking for the exhaust, how many miles on it, and could we get pics of it as it looks now? I may be interested.

NJ08LancerGTS Dec 24, 2008 01:08 PM

NJ08LancerGTS Dec 24, 2008 01:13 PM

As of early October, my Tsudo exhaust had been doing fine....

However, it appears that this Canadian winter is starting to take its toll. The edge of the muffler tip is starting to rust. And the canister is beginning to develop small rust spots all over.

On a previous car, I've had a no-name brand polished muffler that held up better than this one.

A little disappointed now. At this rate of deterioration... I'll probably end up replacing the exhaust prematurely.

Damn.

i had the metal on metal rattle viciously between the bottom of the car and the intermediate exhaust pipe. the way mine was the rear hanger pulled the pipe up too close to the car. my inital thought was its fine with just the rear one as it seemed fine and the height was perfect but for piece of mind i ended up (this is hard to explain) taking both the like hangers (rear one and one leftover) and attaching them side by side with a hose clamp. then i hook the bottom hole on the right on the the muffler and the top hole in the left one the car's post. a little ghetto but with an off the wall part like that there's gonna be at least some small complications. hope this helps.

John_Dev87 Apr 20, 2009 02:38 AM

i hear tsudo rusts very easily even though they claim is rust free.. =S

kaliuv Apr 20, 2009 12:23 PM

I've had tsudo n1 on my 09 gts for about 10k miles. Never had any problem except hanging lower and lower as time goes. I've handled this problem by using hose clamp around hanger.

U guys can check this buddy's video on youtube. I learned it from this video.
