New motor won't fire

Put a new motor in and ran two diff sets of Plugs on my 3rd new set. All are getting fouled dark black around the electrode. Any reson why it doesn't want to fire? If I have someone try to start the car while opening the throttle by hand it will hold an idle at about 1000 rpm. I can turn it off and start t back up upon doing this. Anyone have any suggestions to get this motor idling? In goig to go a head and try he NGK BKR5E-11's see if they help. TIA

what kind of injectors? what kind of tune are you running, does it have oil etc... look at your basics first if all pass then its something internal.

Have you tried changing coil packs from the old motor maybe?

All stock right now. Trying to break the motor in. I don't have a set of old coil packs to switch out to try. It was misfiring when I did have it idling though. Should I go ahead and get coilpacks and see if that helps? Oil is good, plugs foul, injectors are stock. Okay you can have my thread. =D

Oh ok I was thinking you had two complete motors so you could swap them out to try. Maybe try exhausting some other things first since those coils are a little more expensive. Have you done compression test? checked for vacuum leaks? If you can find a way I would disconnect the injectors and try to pull a plug and visually check the spark make sure its a nice blue color and not more yellow. Also do you check the gap or just install these? I always check the gap on the plugs before I install them even if they say do not gap just to be sure.
