hello, i need a quick answer. I have a 02 lancer OZ rally sitting on Progress springs. I have 17ich rims and i just blew the bead on 3 of them. I have a friend of mine getting me 4 brand new tires for $200. He dont have 205/40/17 in stock but he has 205/45/17 in stock, is there a big difference in the two?, and will they fit?

 

They should fit just fine. On the ES, either 215/40 or 205/45 is generally the biggest you can go either way on a lowered car without running into problems with tire rub.
