If you want to check out the real deal Mugen stuff that will make your jaw drop, go to www.kingmotorsports.com
Keep in mind Mugen is for Honda.
Keep in mind Mugen is for Honda.
basically that mugen stuff on your lancer is nothing but FAKE! there are a lot of intakes out in the market like injen, aem and road race and i suggest do your homework first before buying stuff for your car. ive seen that intake before on ebay for a sentra spec v and that is just plain stupid putting a mugen intake on different makes and models.. MUGEN is just for HONDAS

It may sound different but in no way does it improve your performance enough to be called a "gain"
cuz why would anyone buy one thing over the other just based on price? What I find with SRI are that they gather more air than the stock air filter since it has a cone shape its gathering air 360d instead of just a flat filter. Plus the filter is located in the engine compartment, and if you don't have a heat shield then most likely you'll be sucking in HOT air...
CAI is located @ the bottom of the engine bay further away from the heat of the engine. Cold air = denser air = better performance... thats my understanding of SRI and CAI correct me if I'm wrong
