K I'm thinking of doing a rather extensive upgrade of the clutch system, bushings, short shifter and ss clutch lines. I'm wondering where people are getting SS clutch lines for the lancer. Are they the same as the evo? Whats the install like, something I can do myself or should I get a shop to do it, since I don't have the equipment to flush the system or anything?

 

There's only one clutch line as I understand it. It's just a length of SS hose with AN fittings, but I don't know the correct sizes.

EDIT: Thanks for reminding me to get back on my search for braided SS fuel line though.

 

As far as I know, the Evo clutch line will NOT fit the Lancer. I've heard is working on one for the Lancer, but it hasn't materialized yet.

 

Damn, the car would be so nice with one too.

 

Seems RRM makes one for the ralliart. Maybe they'd consider making one for the US lancer.

 

There is really no benefit on the lancer 02-03 as there is no restrictor.

 

Just be nice to get some of the mushiness out of the clutch pedal. Are there any mods that can do that? I already got the underhood bushings.

 

Get a heavier pressure plate.
