E-brake handle removal

Does anyone know how to get the E-brake grip off. I bought a new one but cant seem to get the stock one off. A friend told me about a clip on the under side but I can't find it.

Any help Is appreciated.

Please search next time. Twist and pull. Use a towel and a vise grip or something if need be.

Got it off and then my new one was too long so you couldn't push the button. customizing sucks. guess i'll just list the handle on ebay.
