reverse gauges, problems arising....

so not too long ago i finanlly got my gauges and i was very happy with them. well now that i've had them for a little while something is going wrong with them

the problem is that at night the color fades to the point where it looks like their off

so i checked all the connections, the power, the ground and everything looks fine, and i notice when i first start the engine that they light up like they are suppose too, but then they fade almost instantly

anyway, if anyone could help narrow down the problem it would help

thanks

I would try a different power source first.
after that... do you have a system that might be draining power?

Check the integrity of your battery. Is it giving out full juice.

Sounds like its a power supply problem. Contact the manufacturer and see if they know whats wrong. Maybe get them replaced if there is a warranty.

if there is a transformer, i would check that first. i know APC gauges always go out, and 150% of the time it is because of the transformer. They will send you out a new one, but i don't know what kind of gauges you have.

The only white face reverse glow gauges I've seen are on eBay. I bought a similar type for my old '90 240SX which looked outstanding. However the white face gauge looks awful on the ES style gauge cluster unless there's some way to get a bezel to separate the tach/speed/temp/gas gauges.
