02 Oz Rally price?

Thinking of getting another car for a commuter. Saw an ad that a mitsu dealership is selling a 02 oz rally w/ 53 k miles for about $6k. KBB has it listed for $10k. U'all think the dealer is trying to pull off a lemon?

Yeah that what i was thinking. I can care less if its cosmetic damage. As long as its drivable and is mechanically sound...i'm happy

not really i paid 5000, after tax and others it came to about 6k for a 2003 lancer es 5spd in black. i bought it at my local mitsu dealer back in march of '04 with 15000 miles on it. they were having a huge sale though. it was only 7 months old. for an oz its prolly worth it i mean it doesnt have high mileage yet and in supposedly good condition.

he didnt say 10k he said 6 thousand he said kbb has it listed for 10k which we all know, an 02 oz w/ over 50k aint worth that. its already 3 yrs old and has medium miles on it. i would go for it if i had money for a new motor later on or now a timing belt atleast.

If you saw it in an ad, it's probably one of their "specials" used to draw customers in, then they try to sell them something else. Don't be surprised if it's sold by the time you get there, or they at leasy CLAIM it's sold. But you never know, maybe it's got some damage or some other reason. But we all know that nobody pays retail blue book for a car anyway.

never get a test drive in it take the test drive and you drive it, and abuse it to bring out any hidden problem the dealer will hide. believe me i worked at a dealer and many cars went out our door that way. it also happened to my dad already on a 95 mustang, it needed a tranny, the dealer hid it somehow.

Reminds me of a TV show or movie I saw once where the dealer stopped an oil leak with chewing gum
