The greatest amount concentration for the 2nd gen 4g93T will be in Aussie or NZ. In Japan, they are holding onto to it like another familiy member. another word: over their dead body.

Here's a link to a member from Aussie. See how less complicated the engine to the 4g63T.
The gen two motor pumps about 200-205 HP on a 1.8L with inferior parts compared to any standard DSM. On the 1st gen, it produces about 195 HP.
See the gen 2 motor produces about the same HP as a stock DSM.
Swap a few parts with forged upgrade in conrods and piston and tuning, a 4g94 hybrid can knock off 60% of all dsms with ease. Reason for forged, our stockrods cannot compete in durability of any DSMs hitting around 20-22 lbs of boost. 20lbs boost lancer w/ DOHC parts swap vs 22 lbs boost gst.

Civic's came with: D16Zx, D16Yx (where the X on these is 5,7, or 8.. and ment SOHC VTEC-e, SOHC non-VTEC, or SOHC VTEC). They also had the B16A and B16B (Si and Type R motors)
The integra's are pretty much the same, but go with 18, with B18 blah, the B meaning dual overhead. B18C5 i think everyone would know as the Type R.
Then you have the F22, the oddball found in the accords.
then the preludes have H series, with H23A which is a non-vtec, H22A, H22A1, H22A4, (and I've heard of a H22A5.. i think it was in the euro-r accord). All of 22's are DOHC VTEC, with the H22A being JDM and cover two models including the Type S (220 hp 11:1 compression). The A1 is a closed deck in the 94-96, and the A4 is an open deck in the 97+. There is also a H23A vtec used in the new euro-r accord IIRC, but the H22/23 hybrid is a home grown mix peiced together by the owner.. which is a H23 non-vtec block with the H22A(whatever) head placed on.
Also, alot of B series people take the CR-V's B20 block and put the Civic Si's B16 VTEC head on top... great torque with good flow for high end HP, but you loose out on how high you can revv
and yes, in very rare cases (such as the early 90 prelude B series engines), all letters can use matching letter engine parts (B16,B18, B20 can all use parts, and H23 and H22 can use parts)

I thought the 6a12TT would be the same but its not, the casting on the back of the engine is completely different. I'm trying to shoehorn the engine into my FTO but now my gearbox won't fit the 6A12TT engine because the bolt holes are in different places. Can someone help me with this problem? I first thought about making an adaptor plate to mate the gearbox to the engine but now I think swapping the heads an turbos would be easier. Your thoughts please would be appreciated.

As far as swapping heads, even though a engine may share a code with another, swapping a head may not be just plug and play. DSM guys have been putting 4G63 heads on 4G64's for some time now, but things can get out of hand with other cars because of different orientations. I wouldn't know how to help. But, there are a couple of members here who have lived over seas, or just know a lot, so there's hope.
The 4G63T (2.0ltr turbo, evo engine) and the 4G93T (1.8ltr turbo, GSR engine) can be found with intake on the left for models up to 1996 and on the right 1996 onwards for both engines. you can easily rip out a 93 and put in a 63 if you also change the loom and ecu with it.
The Lancer MR before the evo 7/8/9 shape was just mivec with no turbo and FWD.
Im from New Zealand and we have all these models, and they are not rare, Can pick up a ****ty evo 1 for 5000usd and a GSR for 3000usd but by the time you guys in america get them they will be rare because we thrash them like savages and dump them after.
The reason you guys were having trouble with engine codes is because you are mixing american codes with japanese codes, for some reason america likes changing names of japanese parts and makes things very confusing sometimes.

Don't know what you mean by that. 4G63 is 4G63 no matter where you are in the world. I've never come across a different code for an engine just because it was sold in a different market. This is an old *** thread. The orientation was what was throwing people off, but they are still the same codes. I'm not talking about part numbers, I mean engine codes. They are universal.
