NEED a PIC of 4G94 engine
Can someone please post a picture of a close up of 4G94?
I'm looking specifically at the area where the oil cap is just to see the surface of the valve cover.
thx

I just need to see the surface around the oil cap. Mine is sort of leaking and the surface might have changed a bit and I just want to verify that before I will pull out a hammer and knock out a big hole in my valve cover

It could be it but what I am looking at is the valve cover not the cap. When the cap is locked in the valve cover the part that is around the cap, metal/silver part of the valve cover seems like it has wrinkles. I was wondering if it is normal or abnormal but to give you an answer I would have to see someone else's valve cover.

here's 3 pics around the oil cap. i took them just now. might be a tad blurry but you've got the idea....my valve cover leaked a bit too, the gasket wasn't bad it just wasn't torqued down enough...worse comes to worste you could just get a new oil cap if the gasket in there is bad. i hope these help

When I change my oil, I always put a rag around the hole when I pour it. That keeps oil off the valve cover and dirt from building up on it. If you leave even oil residue on the valve cover it kinda gets dried out and baked on over time.. and dust gets collected on it. Then when you go to seal the oil cap on, it makes a not so perfect seal and it allows more oil to splash/seep out. Clean up the area, and make sure not to drop anything in the hole!
