Just something funny bout Mitsu dealers

I'm was thinking bout when I took my car in for Tranny work last month.
When I brought it in tranny was all messed up, only mod I had on at the time was a SRI.
I get there and show them the problem, they say uhh is that a modded intake that might be your problem right there.
Was so hard not to laugh, anyways after they did some compression tests, and flushed the tranny they found that it was totaly F***** up and required a new one.
They agan stated that my intake might have caused the problem and had to wait for one of mitsu's reps to come look at it, ofcorse it had nothing to do with the problem..
Anyways I just got a thing in the mail from that dealer stating, Mitsu Service department has determned that your moddifications to your car was not the cause of the problem.
And go on to say I should'nt mod the car, as a mod found to cause a part under warranty to malfunction will leave me liable for all costs to repair.

Man they are funny. So anyways they replaced my tranny @19250 miles, and never gave me a reasion as to why it failed.
I think it had something to do with the 15,000 hard miles I put on it in bout 2 months

you've gotta wonder just why people do things like that. i mean, what are the people at the dealership trying to prove? of course the techs know better. haha thats just funny

Yeah, and the OEM windshield wiper fluid goes in what turn signal? That would cause your paint to flake off your rims too...

the best tech at my local mitsu doesn't speak english for one, and the service advisor has ADD or is a serious mental case. it was truly unpleasant dealing with them when i had a leaking slave cylinder. however, they never did say anything about my mods, but it isn't under warranty.
