evo steering wheel qs?????

Hey everyone i just recieved my evo steering wheel i bought off one of the memebers and it looks great!!! but my qs is on the wheel it has just one connector on there and from my understanding on my 02 there are to connecting plugs on the stock steering wheel, one for the horn and the other one for the airbag? so if theres only one on the evo steering wheel how the hell am i suppose to install it? can someone please help me out

post a pic if you can.... one of my wheel's wires was tucked way the hell up inside of the wheel. Make sure that you aren't missing it.

BTW, what color is the wire you found so far?

unless i'm mistaken, I think he's saying that he can only find one wire on the evo wheel, not that he can't find the third..... right army?

ill try and post pics of what i mean but im mean on the stock lancer steering wheel there is a plug and play connector i believe and it hink thats for your horn and mayb cruise control im not sure , and on the evo steering wheel there is only 1 plug and play connector so if theres only one doe sthat mean i will b without a horn or cruise control?

just to clarify:

stock lancer wheel should have 3 wires coming out (cruise, horn, and airbag)
evo wheel should have 2 wires coming out (horn and airbag)

if this is not the case, then you have a BIG problem. the third wire (cruise) is just electrical taped closed and pushed into the steering column. I hope this helps clear things up.

wheel on the evo steering wheel i have it has a yellow plug, and theres a skinny wire that dangles there isent a third plug outlet or a wire anywhere on the wheel does this mean i am gonna loose 1 of my options horn,airbag,or cruise control?

The skinny wire is your horn, the yellow plug is your airbag.

o ok well i guess that means i will loose my cruis control then! kool thanks guys, does anyone know where or how much a shroud is gonna cost me because i am missing that that goes around the base of the steering wheel, didnt get a chance to go to the dealership and ask

Best bet would be to find a crashed evo and take it from that, should only cost like 5$ that way. You will lose cruise control but it's not a big deal, I don't have cruise, or air conditioning and I manage.

if you're talking about the plastic piece that is like 4" x 2" and allows access to the wires, I can give you the mitsu part number. They are easy to order and not that expensive.
