just to clarify:
stock lancer wheel should have 3 wires coming out (cruise, horn, and airbag)
evo wheel should have 2 wires coming out (horn and airbag)
if this is not the case, then you have a BIG problem. the third wire (cruise) is just electrical taped closed and pushed into the steering column. I hope this helps clear things up.

wheel on the evo steering wheel i have it has a yellow plug, and theres a skinny wire that dangles there isent a third plug outlet or a wire anywhere on the wheel does this mean i am gonna loose 1 of my options horn, airbag,or cruise control?
o ok well i guess that means i will loose my cruis control then! kool thanks guys, does anyone know where or how much a shroud is gonna cost me because i am missing that that goes around the base of the steering wheel, didnt get a chance to go to the dealership and ask
Best bet would be to find a crashed evo and take it from that, should only cost like 5$ that way. You will lose cruise control but it's not a big deal, I don't have cruise, or air conditioning and I manage.
if you're talking about the plastic piece that is like 4" x 2" and allows access to the wires, I can give you the mitsu part number. They are easy to order and not that expensive.
