Question greddy evo2 fitment

My cousin has an 04 oz rally with an evo 2 catback on it. He bought it used with the exhaust already on there. One of the exhaust hangers is hitting the rear sway bar mount. There is some soot where the axleback connects to the midpipe. Who ever put on the exhaust looks like they didnt use a gasket. The tip is crooked, it doesnt line up with the bumper nicely. It looks like the muffler is alittle short overall. Putting a gasket between the axleback and the midpipe will give me some extra length but it looks like it needs about a half inch or more.

You could trying using some urethane exhaust hangers to keep it from bouncing around so much and hitting the sway perch. As for centering it, check to see what other people did. GReddy's cardomain site says some bumper mods are required.

Get the hangers from Kartboy. They will help pull it up a slight bit... I'm running a magnaflow catback and it does the same thing. The urethene hangers helped but didn't center it like I wanted. But it's close.

I have the same problem with my Greddy Evo2. The Kartboy hangers did not fix a thing. Eventually I will have it cut and rewelded to fit correctly.

Go to a muffler shop and have them correct it for ya... they're gonna have to cut, bend, and reweld with the muffler centered in position.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like a bit of a hassel to fix. If he decides he wants it fixed ill tell him whats needed. Worst case scenario it will eventually wear a hole in the pipe? I only notice it on start up. He doesnt drive to hard so i think it might be ok.
