just go online either RRM or ebay or sumen. they run alot cheaper then $600 sumen so jus go aftermarket. plus a high flow will give you a little sound too

well im thinking now that its the exhauset manifold because it says "warmup cat" when i run the code, do i need to buy all new headers or what, im fluent in welding and i have acess to a welder everyday so i could probably install a universal, but yea i think i might need new headers, will it keep the light on if i buy aftermarket headers and put the o2 sensor in, or could it just be the sensor?

EDIT: anyone got stock headers with less than 60 thousand on them, that they wanna sell? lol

try the spark plug foulers to try to get rid of your "warm up cat" which is probably P0421

i have a stock header with the heatshield... fresh off my car. 100k miles though.

if you're interested shoot me a PM. they are just cluttering up my basement.

definitely give the non-foulers a shot. install them in the SECOND O2 sensor bung (in front of your second cat) and then install the O2 sensor in that. be careful with that sensor though and don't do like i did and totaly strip that POS out. P0421 is the warm up cat code, and it's what i am throwing now that i just plain don't have the cat in the header.

it would def be worth getting the CEL eliminator as opposed to replacing the header.

Whatever he missed, I did too.

There was a recall on the cat, and if it's throwing a cel they have to reflash your ecu and if the cel is on they have to replace your header too, which has the cat in it. Because it is a recall, the warranty doesnt matter. I have a salvaged title on my car, which entirely voids my warranty, buy they still replaced mine for free. Talk to the dealership and see what they can do. Search the forum for the recall #.

BUMP on Recall, check with your Dealer, I'm pretty sure youre problem come from the "Cat". Even if youre warranty is over, they will do the reflash

Yup, salvaged title and legally if there is a recall they have to fix it.

wow do you have any proof that they have to legally do it? My dealership was giving me all sorts of crap I even called mitsubishi and they wouldn't do anything about it. Anyone recommend anything? Thanks

Road Race sells their cat for a 100 bucks. http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/drivetrain.htm

It's made by gagaflow... but whatever. It's legal.
