lol dude if i can get a cat for free i'd rather do that. and magnaflow sells the 2nd cat not the precat connected to the header which is what's wrong w/my car.

OK, he's said it's the warm up cat, so no need to go buy a new one and have it put in. There was a recall on that and the dealer will fix it for free, no warranty needed. If not, you could just get aftermarket headers from RRM and not worry about a CEL.

yea but my dealer wouldn't b/c i have a salvage rebuilded title. can i call anyone to report them being stupid?

Call headquarters. When my dealership wasn't being helpful we just called the Regional office and suddenly I was treated like a king.

Yeah, but still, that means you could have trashed the motor so they wouldn't want to mess with it now. I'd say just get an aftermarket header and exhaust and call it a day.

What evidence/material are you looking for? You call them and say that the dealership won't honor the factory recall. Regional office either says "we'll get right on it" or they say "yeah, we don't fix cars with salvage titles"... one way or another, you get your answer. There's no evidence you need.
