Don't' cut your inner window seals off. You will get water in your door panel and a crap load of wind noise inside your cabin.

Mold will grow and then the car will stink. Moleskin is the only fix.....or just don't tint your windows.

he gave you ways to improve your product. why don't you take that advice from a REAL consumer to IMPROVE your product instead of wasting your time being a grammar ****.

Pushing your product on people will not make them buy it.

and don't even give me that "I'm not a TintProtector Rep." crap beause normal consumers DO NOT push products the way reps. (yes you) do.

THANK YOU.

passenger and driver side windows have glue on them. thanks tint protector ! I have checked for installation error(s) and have found none. I will post pictures if glue comes up again.

just to be honest/clear i do prefer cleaning glue off my tint rather than having to replace it every so often (although i still have yet to see the severity of scratches).

but this "great" product with this magic glue should not be leaving any residue on my windows according to the manufacture.

DUDE! You take ONE second to cut the moleskin in half then you can peel and stick it. You must be a horrible customer to deal with in all areas of life.

Tint Protector stops your window tint from scratching period!

Why am I a poser ? Would you like a scan of my degree ??? Grow up and work on your customer service until then TINT PROTECTOR Protect this

The glue is because you didn't install it correctly. The moleskin was too close to the edge of the blade.

If you install it correctly it will last forever and never come off.

You're welcome. I hate it when reps come into the forums and talk like "normal" people even though it's clear that they, in some way or another, work for the company. Obviously, unless you are super enthusiastic about a product, you would not repeatedly say the same thing over and over again. it's sickening to take advantage of what people don't know yet.

Develop a product that actually works, then you have a case. Develop a product that you "claim" works...let's see how many people it takes to find the truth of it before you get a bad name.

I'd rather have a product that works like stated.

The only way you get water in the door panel is if you INTENTIONALLY pour water down in there....now who in the right mind would do that? Plus not all cars have an inner molding. Don't you think MILLIONS of other drivers would experience a mold problem??

I have my inner moldings cut; it's been 4 months since I've done it. I've driven through many many many bouts of rain since then. how long does it take for mold to grow? Google that ****. Oh yah....I still have the "new" car smell.

Tint your windows, have the installer trim the inner panel and roll your windows until your motor catches fire. you WILL NOT get scratches. You'll have to worry more about fire damage than smelly mold. Wind and road noise are neglible. it's a Lancer for god's sake. if you wanted quiet, you should've gotten a lexus, or get sound proofing...like me

They worked VERY HARD to develop their moleskin. Nothing on the market even touches their stuff. It costs big money to manufacture the glue’s they use.

I'm just sick of the 1% who ALWAYS complain about everything! The product works. They have sold thousands of kits. You come in and bash the product that they worked so hard to develop to help people LIKE YOU!

They make very little money. The company was started to help people with the tint scratch problem, not to make money. I don't know if they have broken even after all the money they put into making better moleskin to withstand the heat and humidity.

I know they are always working on making it better and better. Too bad you all bash instead of offer to help improve the product. Typical in this world we live in today.

ok, so to my understanding, you didn't use the tint protector AND you trimmed the inside of the window that touches the window, correct?

It is not I who bashed. There was a CUSTOMER which bought this product that reported there were problems with it and you proceeded to, instead of help alleviate and explain the problem, tell him he needed to go back to school to learn how to write! what kind of BS is that? if you really wanted to sell a product, backed by good customer service, then tell me how do you go about treating others with problems with your product.

Also, what kind of business opens up to BREAK EVEN!? "You know what I want to do when I grow up? I want to start a business just to break even...that's my goal" i've never heard more BS in my life. People sell products to make money, not for "the good of others" as you might want to think. Believe it or not, there is a real world out there and people are looking to make MONEY!

People complain, for the most part, because there is a problem. 1% of people who complain, complain about NOTHING. the gentleman on this thread had a legitimate problem. your product claimed that it was "Peel and Stick" that the glue would NOT rub onto your window after installation. This gentleman was commenting about POORLY writen install procedures, how HE had to cut the felt HIMSELF and how there's glue ALL OVER his window! To me, the product does not work as advertised and if I were him, I'd be completely irate about it! Instead of helping him though, you tell him he installs it wrong and that "it's the best moleskin" and that once it's on, "it'll last forever"

I don't know about you, but if you start getting glue on your window from the felt, it means that the felt is coming off of the molding, and will eventually FALL OFF because of all the glue he's wiping up! How long is forever again? A few weeks? i can't quite remember....

Make a better product and maybe I'll believe it "the best moleskin" for our cars. until then, I'll roll my windows up and down all day without having to worry about your moleskin falling off which apparently "lasts forever"

This is on tintprotector.com front page at the bottom of the page:

"Our "moleskin" has a tremendously strong adhesive backing that can withstand more moisture and heat than any felt on the market today. It's made from an acrylic resin (Super Glue). Just peal and stick! The installation is completely hidden. It's that easy."

Sorry, I just had too
