Someone tint my tails?

ok so i got some static cling tint from auto zone to tint my stock tail lights with and i suck with working with it. the stuff it a pain in the butt to get big creases out of and the bubbles are just as bad. ive used soapy water with it also and it helped a little.. i was thinking about trying some night shade spray as well, but ive seen some done that look like crap. so i decided it might just be easier to just tint the lower white half of the light. well its almost just as hard and i am freakin impatient.. .

so was wondering if someone could give me some advise on maybe something better to use, or if someone thats good at it could do it for me if i threw you a few bucks .

if you were closer i would do it for you.... i would lean towards the nite shades since the static tint is not that strong... you will have like little lifted edges towards the middle edge of tail light and dirt and **** can get in there and the tint peels of in couple days... (i did mine) i even heated it up but it was still hard... these tail lights are too curvy..

I would just get some nite shades and then out some clear on em later... they should come out better than the tint..

I would have a tint shop put "clear bra" material over the tails. Clear bra material is basically clear vinyl that will stretch and conform to the curves of the surface it's being applied to, and it comes in a various tint colors. The guy that put the clear bra on my car offered to put yellow "clear bra" over my stock fog lights free of charge. That would probably be the best way to go about applying tint to your tails that can be removed.

You can see when the lights are on it looks nice.

If you would like for it to look like mines in the link, then allow a professional to do it using vinyle. The guy who did mine said I was using the wrong stuff when I was trying to tint it with tint instead of vinyle like he did. He charged me $70 and did a great job.

Tint will not stretch when heated and its too hard for curves.

I dont know if you can measure vinyle by percentages but he said it was 20%.

I don't know if it's "vinyl" specifically, but the clear bra material is definitely similar to vinyl, in that it's a stretchy plastic film...

I used 10-20% tint on my tail lights and it looked pretty good.
