My Email to Dealer about Trade of 09 Lancer GTS for same car but with TOURING PACKAGE
Hey Gerry,
I looked up on kbb what a new GTS would be with all three packages (Sun&sound/Nav/Touring). The invoce price is exactly $22k thats with the 675 included for desination too.
So if you could sell it to me at that price and give me 19.5k for my car I would be out of pocket 2.5k + tax
I'm assuming I would get the loyalty rebate too so that would put me at 2k + tax out of pocket.
Could you do that deal with me? I wouldn't be able to negotiate, just a simple swap and I give you 2k after rebate for the one with touring. Let me know, thanks!

Dude...really? Look, youu have a great, new, cool car. One of the 09's at that (which for some reason some members would run you over for just to swap their 08's with you) so just stop. Be happy with your car, enjoy your car. Its over and done with. You already have your car and its done. Is the touring package REALLY worth $2000 to you? REALLY?
I hope you do know that, that $2000 can knock off like 1/2 a year of payments, mod the hell out of the car, or pay for whatever else.

i mean **** 2 grand though, thats definitely worth it for the traction control, xenon projector headlights, and just the fresh 0000s on the odometer, plus id like to get the car in white, i think it would look twice as sick

well yea 3k plus what i have already paid since buying the car like... 3 months at 320 a month.
i got my car pretty much at invoice price and would be trying to get the new one at invoice as well
yours was prob more expensive because u got the CVT not manual
