I was wondering, since there will be alot of non EVO Lancers, would a turbo Eclipse engine bolt in? I have seen them in Mirages, so I assuming the new Lancer couldn't be anymore difficult.

 

As a Mirage owner, I can tell you that if you're considering a 1G or 2G eclipse Turbo engine in a new Lancer or a 97+ Mirage, it would be highly unfeasable. Since the engine orientation of the DSM are different than Lancer or the last gen Mirage. It can be done with a lot of fabrication, but it's not cost effective in my own opinion.

An EVO IV+ engine would be a more logical or workable way of engine swapping.
