Granted you and I have the same exact car (if you have a 5 spd) and I'm pretty sure neither you nor I have a GDI 4G93 or a DOHC 4G93, nor do we have an AWD option like the Cedia or a very nice in-dash GPS setup, I'm pretty sure somehow a Pacific Rim Lancer did not somehow find it's way on a boat with its shorter 3MPH bumpers and someway somehow land at your local dealer. All Lancers are built in Japan but that in no way makes it an JDM spec or Pacific Rim spec.

Yeah, as far as performance and even luxury options we stateside owners got the short end of the stick...Kinda sux, but that's what an aftermarket is for right?

The Lancer is also built in Taiwan (by China Motors Corp sold as Lancer and Virage) and now in China (as the Lioncel). China Motors exports its version to Thailand and several other Asian nations. Japan, the U.S., and Europe get the Japan built models, but with different engine and transmission set ups.
