Does anyone know of some decent performance brakes for the lancer? I got my 17"'s a while ago and i hate looking at the factory ugly brakes all the time....ANYONE?

Those carbon/kevlars are just pads. I'm pretty sure uranium meant a full brake replacement to fill the gap when you get bigger wheels (oh yeah...and that whole stopping power thing too).

No, as of now there are no kits made specifically for the lancer. My advice to you: Help create a demand. Baer seems to be a good target if you ask me. Brembo's already replied rather coldly to requests or future projects. If there's a demand...someone will make them. It may not be your first choice, but it may definitely be worth pushing for. Good luck.

Fxckin Brembo...if we can use the same wheels as an evo why not the same brake kits?
****, I thought we had some selection already for brake kits...but guess not. I encourage everyone to get their senators involved with our brake issues.

Brembo supposedly has pseudo-one off kits for around 3k a piece and it's only a front big brake kit with some 4 pot calipers if I remember correctly. Steep damn price. I'd much rather have the rear drums converted to discs then just get bigger rotors, stickier pads, and finally upgrade the calipers...argh...much work to be done.
