You will also have to have a light on it for the night time, or take the chance of getting pulled over. You could mount the plate, from the bottom of the plate with some felt taped to the back at the top to keep from hurting the paint, on the flat surface that is just above the tip cut out, centered. The light issue is another thing. I don't see any way to do it without cutting a hole or getting a plate frame with a light built in. Good luck!!

P.S. Make sure and post pics when you are done!!

1sweetoz: thats the 2 fast 2 furious replica kit for the lancer. if you want to order/see pics you can go to extremedimensions.com

as for the license plate.... damn dood dosent look good. i guess your going to have to put it dead center on the bumper. the only bad thing is theres no space for it (indent), so its going to look a little weird, and as nasdale stated, your going to have to get a light for it. most states do require it by law. i was thinking maybe you could put it on the trunk, but that would look wayyyyy ugly. not the best rear bumper for license plate.

swap it for a cedia trunk lid - I believe they have the plate frame in the trunk. That would look pretty unique...

Just put it on the front bumper here where I live, you dont have to have plate on front AND back, just either one.

I would check with the local law enforcement as to the 1 plate location. I have never seen a front only plate state, alot of southern states only require the rear plate.

who the f*ck made a kit that has no place to mount the rear plate?! Anyway, I like the trunk swap idea. Most likely, behind the rear window is not legal. Check to see what the laws are about height placement as well as if you can have anything (glass, cover, etc.) in front of it. And most likely you have to have it lighted.

you could get away with it in your rear window if your state requires you to have your registration tags on your plate, like a little sticker in the upper corners, you could say that your tags were stolen way to often in the past and you are trying to avoid it again... most cops wont argue with that

The trunk idea is definately good but if you need it on there quick and don't plan to take it off the only option you really have is to screw it right into the bumper. I know thats not what you want to hear, but thats all I can think of. I'm sure you can find a little light housing thats sheilded on the top and side(just shining down). You can also go custom and have a pan put in if you can get it repainted.

Nitro, looks like it's the best thing you can do without major work. Take your time and you should be able to make it look okay, good luck!!!
