Wasn't intending on buying them at 100 bucks for a pair. I just ordered K&N Typhoon short ram intake kit (yes, I have automatic) and hopefully that will give my car a little boost as well as better mileage, my first engine mod.

I didnt like my typhoon. It had a plate inside the tube and while I understand that is supposed to "ram" the air in, it seemed like it would constrict it more. So I bought an ebay CAI and that broke cause my engine was moving too much. Now I have an Injen CAI and I love it. I actually thought I felt a performance increase with it. Good first mod though. Keep it up. Its sad where I am cause there are a handful of evos and a TON of lancers but none of the lancer guys want to mod their cars. I literally am the most modded lancer in probably a hundred miles. It sucks cause I have a ton of spare aftermarket stuff and no one to sell it to.

I'm in Canada, Mitsubishi only came back in 2003 and I bought my car in 2003 so there's not very many I see on the road, which is the way I like it.
Anyways, I can't get a CAI because no one makes one for automatic car. Personally I've driven and loved standard all my life but the past 6 or so years because I thought wife would drive my car, she never got her license and I'm stuck with auto....
