08 lancer es "sport" vs gts engine diff??

ok, well its kinda late already(i own a 08 lancer es sport) and im pretty sure there is a thread on here that already answer my question, but I like to know from other ES owners and GTS owners if there is a big different from the 2 cars...so far I know the GTS has like the factory body kit and like 18in alloy rims(i think) and my car came with the body kit too, cause it's a es "sport"(dealer called it a es "sport")
Well the question is, IS there any big different between the 2 cars at all or something...and also should i have bought a GTS...also im new to the fourm. I also have own my lancer es "sport" for a year, and so far I have the Takeda SRI and Tsudo axle-back exhaust, which is ok i guess...love the sound of my SRI.

ES has the 2.0 engine and the GTS (now known as GT) has the 2.4 engine and paddle shift if you have the auto(not sure if ES has this). I also think the newer GTS/GT have the color screen display inplace of the orange on the ES. The new GT(2012) also has the Ralliart front bumper now.

Back in the 2008 model, there was no engine difference. I owned a 2008 GTS. It was basically a stock Lancer with a body kit, big swaybars and nicer interior. So you're not really missing out on much.

@Blacksheepdj- oh thats good...but i wouldn't mind the better interior and the big swaybar...not sure if the "big" swaybar helps or not, but i wish my es would of came with it though, lol

It helps a bit. I was still unimpressed with the handling, but knowing myself, I'd probably be unimpressed with the stock handling of MOST cars on the market. And most people wouldn't want to drive a car set up the way I like them.
