It started out a little over 2 years ago. I bought her on a salvage title for hail damage. Needed a cheap car because I got to my first duty station and had to get to work and liked the way Lancers/Evos looked. The price was right so I was willing to overlook the fact that it was a CVT.

Started out small with a HID kit and left it at that for a while. Then I decided to replace the inop amp after not having a radio for way too long. Hunted around and finally pulled all the materials and know how of bypassing the stock amp together and pulled the trigger on that. 14 hours, total, and roughly $400 later I now had a working stereo again. I'm currently running a 5 channel Crunch Audio 1000w amp on Kenwood door speakers and the stock sub (I'm actually surprised that it has held up for almost 6 months at 500w.) With a Kenwood KDC-352U HU, soon to be replaced with a touch screen dvd HU.

From there I kinda went on a frenzy. I decided to do the Ipod dock in the change holder. Traded my stock 5 spoke alloy wheels for a RRM CF hood. Custom mounted a Magellan GPS unit in the chubby hole in the center console and debadged the trunk. Smoked my tail lights. Replaced the reverse, brake, map, and license plate lights with LEDs. Not to mention replaced the pitiful stock trunk light with a red LED strip and replaced the carpeting in the trunk with a custom cut black one. Pout in a front strut bar and painted the coil cover red and the interior trim flat black. Most recently I put new shoes on her, 18" Stern Hypermesh wheels running Achilles 225/45/18s. 7.5" wide in the front and 8" in the rear. This weekend I'm doing a fender roll.

To come are projector headlights, lowering springs, 2010 black housing or LED smoked tails, CF trunk, side skirts and lip, and finally a new paint job.

After all that I'm going to start the hunt for a MTX 3000GT to replace the one auto I have now.
