Piece of cake. Get the right sized hex wrench and a something small to use for a breaker bar. I've gone over the install process in detail so run a search!

what happens with the airbag once you install an aftermarket steering wheel?

its not really aftermarket... its the stock Evo one. It has an airbag so it'll work just like the stock lancer one w/ an airbag

I'll write it up again and hopefully this gets stickied this time around:

1. Unplug negative terminal - this is more for safety in case your airbag decides to deploy while you're unhooking/rehooking the wiring.
2. Turn stock wheel so you can see the panel that pops out.
3. Remove hex screw.
4. Unhook two connectors; one for horn, one for airbag.
5. Line your wheels up STRAIGHT before removing stock wheel.
6. Remove steering wheel.
7. Reverse directions and enjoy.
