09 lancer help!!

Hey sorry this regular piece of **** lancer is on your Evo X Forums. but i need some help figuring this problem out. Please Help me out

While Driving down Lake Shore Drive in Chicago I noticed that my engine was making some funny Sputtering sounds when I accelerated. It caught my attention because it was so discrete, but different than normal. upon more inspection, I noticed that I didn't have any Holes that i could notice along the Exhaust Pipes and Muffler. So it was a good sign that i didn't have a Leak on the Pipes. I finally realized that the sputtering sound Is NOT coming from the pipes but from behind the engine, By the Header. When it idles, the Sputtering is not really noticeable. but once you give it some gas, you can definitely hear it.

I have a video that i took when it was really noticeable.

I tried doing research to see what it could be and I came accros things like, Header Leaks, Bad 02 Sensor, Bad Cat. I dont wanna drop money into something that wont fix the problem.

Here is the Link to the Video. You might need to put the volume up to hear it well.

Thanks to those who decide to help

Is the car stock? If not what's been done to it?

1, be proud of whatever you drive
2, not an O2, if anything it sounds like an exhaust leak. Also, might have always made that noise and you never noticed before now.

What mods/when/who did them

Okay the exhaust leak was my next idea. Maybe a gasket leak? Or one of the pipes came loose?? And as far as mods go, I have a K&N SRI but I installed that 2 years ago. And I just installed the RRM Pulley, but I put the pulley on after the sound started. Btw the pulley definitely makes a difference, I'm on a CVT Tranny. Thanks again guys

Get an exhaust leak test done on it, because that's what it sounds like.
