The one question all new car buyers like myself are wondering, I came here to ask you guys, since this is a Lancer forum site,and it sounds like you guys know whats up. now....

I Know the ES and OZ are pretty much the same thing, i am gonna get a manual, i just wanna know which would be best to modify with the basics, such as RMR intake, exaust, and wing, since thats who im going through, please let me know, lata !

i beat a lancer es... but thats cuz i have intake custom exhaust... spark plugs... magnecor wires... short shifter... but even after all that... i barely beat him... and his is stock... sort of makes u think... you need a lot of money to make ur car way faster then stock... like a TURBO...

 

yea i understand that, i can just go with a civic hatch back and plop in a b18c5 and an intake and be @ 205, but i choose to buy a lancer instead, your reply didnt answer my question really, but yes, 120 hp stock isnt alot, but i just wanta know which is really better,

 

take the es, you save money on the cosmetics and buy performance stuff....wasnt their a thread named "why'd you go OZ?" it pretty much covered the differences

 

umm only reason why people actually get the oz is cuz of the gauge cluster... yellow color... ground effects which is pretty much non existent....brush aluminum dash... and the suspension is different then the es.... well... its up to ur preference...

I think the real big difference is the interior...personally i really love the OZ black/brushed titanium look and the white guages. i really disliked the es/ls interior partly becuase of the wood dash, i think it's real nasty, but a carbon fiber kit could take care of that. then there's the body kit. personally i think it makes the back of the car barely bearable, the bottom of the back end stock i think is pretty ugly. these are just my opinions, if i were you, i'd just go to the dealer and tell him u want to sit in one of each. im sure they'd be cool with that. good luck
