Can I Fit A Body Kit In My Lancer?

OK, question for everyone... I got a great deal on a Ken Style Body Kit and I'm pickin' it up tomorrow... problem is, I don't have access to a truck, so I'm thinkin' about shovin' that baby in the Lancer. Anyone think this'll work? Or won't work? Or does anyone in SoCal wanna lend me their truck?! LOL...

The side skirts should fit inside the passenger compartment, if placed in correctly (diagonally), and then the front and rear bumper... i'm thinkin' have them hangin' out the trunk a little, tied down with some rope?? you guys think this'll work??

Just tryin' to get some input before I make the 50 mile trek to the warehouse tomorrow... don't want the trip to be in vain!!

Thanks peepz. Appreciate the input.

LOL!!!! i tried that, DONT DO IT. youll scratch up your car really bad and its not worth it. i had to drive slow and everything, just go get a truck. youll be way happier if you get a truck.

not bad... but... i'm not sure what's involved with fitting the kit. will i have to drill some holes? will i need additional hardware? this is the ABK Ken Style, so i don't know how fitment's gonna be.

you tell me IAMKAREEM... i think you'v eworked with ABKs before... what's involved in putting the kit on?

their kits are made of pfrp, right? if they are they should bend then. theres a pic of someone bendin a bumper,or somethin, made of pfrp nearly in half. but i dont remember where i saw it.

could always bring a blanket and tie it to the roof .. ?? I would think that you could probably drop the front passenger seat, drop the rear seats and fit the kit in there. that is just guessing however. make sure you take some blankets or towels and some rope or thick *** string to tie it down or to hold the trunk closed. good luck!

I just picked up a Gialla front bumper from RB today in my Camry. Should fit no problem if you remove the passenger side head rest and recline the seat all the way, gives you plenty of room for your side skirts also if need be. Have fun at Accolade

I will man, and i'll let everyone know how the experience goes. there's been a lot of talk about accolade, both good and bad, but i'm convinced that they've turned around and are producing quality materials now, and i'm on a personal mission to prove it :P
