My 2009 lancer gts wont shift past 1st gear in automatic. Shifts fine in sport mode no lag no hảd shifts nothing, had a bad idle with rpm drops but i cleaned out the maf and the valve, i disconnected the idler control and battery also cleaned all that then ít seems to run alittle better very slight idle drop not much id be conserned about but still doesnt want to shift in auto but again no signs that its the tranny going bad ive tried everything i could think of even re checked my tranny fluid. Anyone that has had the same problem and had this fixed? Also i have had a oil change and tranny oil changed not too long ago. Can a bigger air intake filter have an effect on anything? Mines a spectre cause my work didnt have a k ànd n that fit but this spectre one i have i feel is way tô big and it ripped already.
