Auto Trans Problem

Ok so 3:30 this morning i head to my bros house when all of the sudden the transmission starts shifting down gears and then locks up. After like 10 minutes i get it back in to drive then i get a check engine light. It drives but shift when ever it feels like it. so i take it to Pete Moore Mitsu in Pensacola. The service lady is very nice and friendly. After checking on the code they tell me that the transmission has a sensor that has gone out. they are going to overnight a part monday and should have it installed tuesday. Well this is a problem as my wife is having a baby on Tuesday. So the service lady calls me a Rental car and the tech calls me a side and say ( if i find that you have messed with the ECU then i am going to charge you full price for the repair and overnight charges) **** him he is not even sure the part they are ordering is going to fix the problem.

So you got nothing to worry about.

They are not obligated to honor warranty claims if the user is the one who caused the problem by installing mods. That's not just Mitsubishi, that's every car company.
