I'm down here in South Florida (duh) just saw some stuff on the news about the filming down here and it is confirmed the Evo in FNF2 is a 7 not an 8. They showed the whole car including the front end and it is a 7. Looks like it will be the main car as they showed Paul Walker in it (unless is gets blowed up in the first 10 min like the Eclipse). Yes it is the same color as the pics of the car on the truck, yellow. Strange 'cause the taillights in that pic are of the US spec Lancer not the Evo 7. Hmmm...

 

yeah, the debate continues on whether it's a US Lancer with body kits or not, the Eclipse in the first one was a GS with a bunch of rice out graphics. I think Rob Tallini confirmed it was an Evo tho..

 

No, it is an Evo. The Fenders are flared, not tacked on like those body kits. Front lights are Evo too, as is front bumper. **** there was a Skyline in FnF 1, why is it so hard to believe that Mitsu would donate some 7s for the movie, after all according to Sport Compact Car, Mitsu is sponsoring the movie.

 

It's an Evo VII GT-A insofar as I could tell.

Actually the main car in TFAF2 will be the Skyline GT-R. Do some searching on this forum, and you will find out what I am talking about. It's been discussed. Try the thread calles "What are these?" It's got very good info on the FAF sequal!
