kamikaze/magnaflow pics and vids(before and after)
well, i threw on my kamikaze header over the weekend. everything was going well, until i dropped a bolt into the timing belt cover
well, a few days and a few dollars later, i got some time to make some vids and pics

i got the kamikaze header(w/ downpipe) from bigjoshracing.com. i kinda wish i got the ceramic finish, but meh. install was cake(except for the dropped bolt of course), and the gains are unbelievable.
as you can see, my downpipe was squashed for some reason(i can't believe it came that way stock), which really caused restrictions. before, i could accelarate smoothly to 60, but getting up to 80 for highway cruising was a chore(especially on a short on ramp)
but i've been driving it around a few days, going from 20 to 80, and it pulls solidly every step of the way. the top end gain is just awesome, and i don't feel i lost any low end hp/torque. before my tranny(auto) shifted to 5th around 70-75, but with the header/dp, i made it to 85 before it shifted
whats crazy, is the amount of air this thing pushes out now. before, it was very weak and you could barely feel anything, but now its like a shop vac's exhaust, even when i'm idle
onto noise: well, judge for yourself. the first movies were just with injen sri, magnaflow catback. the second ones are with the kamikaze header and downpipe and magnaflow
drivebay cat only 1mb
rev cat only 6mb
header/dp/catback driveby 280k
header/dp/catback rev 780k
i made the second round a tad smaller for the sake of bandwidth
it definately does sound ricier, but it doesn't get bad if you drive normal. when you really gun it, of course its alot louder and ricier, but not as bad as the regular grapefruit shooters you see on hondas, and honestly, its worth it for the gains

well, when i floor it, it doesn't sound a tad ricier, but still sounds good. its alot louder than before, so i'll have to get used to that.
btw, my SES light just came on(after only 50 miles or so), so it looks like i gotta slap on the MIL eliminator

yeah, i already got the MIL eliminator, just gotta slap it in. i was suprised it goes in the back o2 sensor(by the 2nd cat, which is now my only cat). for some reason, i thought it would go on the front one. oh well. running with the SES light isn't going to hurt anything, right? i don't have time this week, and i'm driving about 1k miles this weekend, just want to make sure it doesn't run rich or anything cause of it
