If I spent a decent amount of money on chrome wheels I would for sure take them off for the winter time but it would totally depend on the area you lived in Example if you live in TX or Arizona its probably no big deal to leave them on if you live in the north half of the country where we get snow and other bad weather stuff which makes for rocks and other junk on the roads its probably a good idea to swap back to your stocks for winter time.

Its up to you When the roads start gettin really dirty thats when I would change them out as long as summer weather lasts keep the chrome on but it doesn't take long for wheels to get dinged up if there are rocks dirt and other crap on the road.
