The Evo6 doesnt have fold down rear seats because there is a cross-brace right behind the seats.

The Evo7 might be the same.

Yes, there is a cross brace behind the seats. Take a look at the diagram near the end of the Evo VII pdf document: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.jp/PDF-E/evo7.pdf
