This was reciently asked in another post. Search a bit.

But here are your options (cause im odly in a good mood today)
1. Find someone to take it over
2. Sell it and cut your losses
3. Trade it in for something new and have the dealer add the difference to the top of your next car's price
4. Keep it till your done paying it. <----- Fincially speaking this is your best option

ok... suck it up and keep the car. that kind of credit hit isnt worth it. if you dont like driving it, then drive one of your two other cars. if you run low on gas for the week then drive tha lancer..... dont be stupid.

The reason I'm asking what the other two cars are is cause if they are worse off then the Lancer I'd say get rid of them and keep the Lancer. The Lancer might not hold it's value but it's a solid car. It's a great car for a commute and is very fun to drive with some simple modifications. I've droped maybe a little over a grand into my car and I'm very happy with my econobox.

ahh that gun is aimed at me :lol: we'll i dont think we're gonna loose. But if for some wild bad call reason we do... i'll modify only some of it. BUt as long as im active on theese boards.. i'll NEVER take it down. (Eagles fans are the Best, wildest, outspoken and most dedicated in all of sports... u can't tell them anything!!.. lol like myself!)

Go trade it for a Ralliart. Most economical on gas arent fun to drive and are slow as crap. I do love driving my Geo though, it gets me good gas and i drive it so rough taking turns at high speed. Man that car may not have a lot of power but it is fun to drive even my friends who have a 00 accord and 05 rsx say its a fun car to drive. It ios always better to drive a car you dont give a crap about than one than u baby. Just my OPinion. Hope this helps.

Am I the only one who knew the Lancer was going to have a high depreciation BEFORE I bought it?!!! When I bought it, I knew I was making a 4 year commitment (because 4 years from the purchase date, I will have it paid off). The depreciation WILL slow down over the next few years. If you make payments for just one more year, you will probably catch up to its value and then be able to break even. Or like me, another year and a half and I will own it outright and can sell it for cash... however much it's still worth.

And good luck to the Eagles, cuz I hate New England. I'll be interested to see how T.O. performs (especially since I love/hate him, cuz I'm a 49er fan).
