Evolution's Recaro, Brembro, ACD, AYC;First time in America??

I have a question.

With Mitsubishi claiming the Evo will come standard with Brembro brakes, and Recaro seats and the Evo already having ACD and AYC are any of these things a first in America?

I know that you can get the new 350Z with Brembros but you have to pay extra for it.

So has any car in America ever had all these performance parts come standard?

Brembos and Recaros - yes they have come on other cars std.
We still aren't sure if they'll be std on the Evo yet. There are rumors we won't get the AYC and that the Recaros and Brembos may be options. Depends if they bring a full GSR type or one more similar to the GTA. It would be nice to hear something new at the NY Auto Show that is now taking place.

i hope it comes with AYC. thats one of the evo 7's main features and one of the reasons why i would consider getting one :)

Not the same thing at all The AYC redistributes torque between the rear tires to improve handling. The vette has a much simpler system that applies brakes selectively to improve stability and slow the car down.

uhm...ive heard of systems that distribute tourqe to the wheels that have more grip to improve handlign for awhile now long before the evo 7...bmws for one have this sorta technology.

And Subaru has marketed their AWD systems with the same theory: "transfer power from the wheels that slip to the wheels that grip".

Whether you are applying torque or brakes, these systems are all designed to help the driver to keep the car on the road. They are all electronic traction aids.

But the difference is that it has nothing to do with slip or grip or traction at the wheel. AYC can overdrive either rear wheel any time it needs too. This is not really a traction aid it is more related to rear wheel steering systems.

If mitsu brings only the GTA over I'm sticking to my GSX and buy more mods. I think it would be a rip off if they take off the brembos, recaro seats and, the ayc call it the Evo7 and sell it or 33K+. If they pull that kind of crap I'll stick to my GSX and buy more mods.
