Front Wheel Drive Driving Tips

Here we can contribute tips to perfect the art of driving a front wheel drive car.

Anyone have any good ones?

don't floor it too much cus then soon your front tires will have only 10% tread remaining while the backs still got like 90% like mine lol. HOWEVER, if u do drive like me then make sure u get tires rotated regularly!

So "don't drive like a dink" - not exactly a great start to this thread.

Don't slam the gas in a corner, the car will just understeer (assuming it's stock).
Let the clutch out nice and easy when starting from a stop. If you let it out too soon, you'll get wheel spin.
Related to the above point, don't rev the car up when you leave from a stop, you should only need to go to about 1000-1500 RPM at most to get the car moving.
Those should get you started.

i don't "drive like a dink". i'm just trying to make a point like ambystom01 said that no need to go on higher rpms when starting from a dead stop unless u're racing or something cus that puts extra effort on the fronts in a fwd compared to if it were a awd i think. i know alot of people willl address more of the technical things on here so i just thought i'd highlight something basic

^10% tread in front and 90% in back? Yea, I'd say rotating your tires is a smart thing. But yea, you don't lose tread that unevenly by "flooring it" you lose it by squealing your tires... don't really know where you were going with your posts

But yea, I actually thought blacksheep's comment was kinda funny man
