you would only get gains out of forged internals if you went with F/I or nitrous, or if you plan to do a custom stroke. imo, nitrous is the biggest waste of money on the market.

Ha not likely^. People blow up on 50 shots, 120 is retarded for a little 4 banger with an already weak motor.

I did a whole sphpele on N2O setups a while back, you might wanna find it and check that out.
Anyway, unless you often drag your Lancer, whattya want nitrous for other than to say "I got nitrous"?
Its not really worth it for street use on our cars, cus Lancers arent that powerful anyway, even with a Turbo.
Nitrous only sprays at WOT, and how often are you daily drivin' at WOT?
Also, if your expecting this huge boost of power throwing you back in your seat like in Fast & the Furious, when you hit the button...
(Buzz sound) AEEEENGH! WRONG
Expect to just start excellerating faster, cus 50 aint gonna do that to ya.

However, If you want nitrous thats "OEM compliant" so as not to blow **** up... When you get your turbo, install and N-tercooler on your Intercooler

I hope you didnt actually take a Gillette to your emblems? j/k
How'ed you do it? If you use a heat gun from a good distance, they should come right off nicely (at least thats how I did it).
Do you have any pics of the damage? Itll be easier to have an idea to help ya fix it if we see it.
I think with I/H/E youll enjoy how your car drives and sounds.
Im lookin' for good headers for my Lancer too.
The CEL problem... we were just discussing this actually in this thread:

24/7

the lancer might be slow, but that doesn't mean you can't drive it ***** out

i don't want a "throw you in the backseat boost" i just want faster accell on the drags without commiting to a turbo

Ah ok! So it cant be that bad... Id go with what Ksattic said, rubbing compound will do just fine.
I had a Square & Compass (see my Avatar) decal on my lancer, and took it off using a razor (thinking I could do it carfully) and got some thin scratches there. The compound fixed it right up like new, youde never tell.

(Voice of God) "COMMMMMPOOOOOOUUUUUUUND!!!"

EeeeeeeK!!! (Satan goes runnin')

Ok that was impulsive... haha
