Hid??
well im not to sure about it but here in Puerto rico a guy from a music store whos a friend of mine said to me that I did not had to touch the fuse box for nothing he just adapted this "MODULO" so the energy will be reprogramed in to the modem without making any damage to the HID even with the DRL on so he kind of just plug all the cables and conected them to the stok cables of the headligth amd thats it I mean they know what they did so it worked !! and Im quite happy with the results !!!
now the question is what can I do with the fogligths because I have not decided if the cars gonna look nice with HIDs on the fogligths or just plug a couple of white bulbs to the fogligths ?? what do you think??
ok is just like this the guy had to make a relay on the circuits in order to deactivate the DRL he did not took off the ship of the fuse box (the DRL) you get it ?? all the cables that are in the headlights had to be united I don't know how but he told me that the cable that goes to the signal lights was plug together with the low bulbs instead of the High intensity bulbs .
But still I have one question about the fact that this cars have the sticker that goes at the door that indicates that the car has Hight Intensity Discharge system (HID), did anyone claimed that already?? because I received a note from Mitsubishi that tells me about going back to my nearest Mitsubishi local service to put some piece that is necessary for the trunk to not open if I get hit by another car wold that hbe the same for the H IDs?
I was cleaning my car today an I found something interesting
On the inside of the driver-side door, there are three stickers: one airbag warning sticker, one tire pressure sticker and another sticker of interest...
It looks to me like HID might be an option the dealer can install. This sticker is here for a reason, so I am going to contact my dealership tommorow to find out more. I will keep yous posted....

It's not an option on the Lancers. That sticker is put on Mitsu vehicles that have ANY of those options installed or available. Check the list:
HID lamps (not available)
Navigation display (available)
Center display (available as Nav)
Entertainment System Display (available as nav).
That's why that sticker is on there.
As for this relay system the guy installed for you. ANY pics of this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Should Know more Today
I tried contacting the member many times that posted that, with no response. I am going to my dealer today. hopefully thery can help, but I doubt it. I am hoping they can atleast do something about the **** quality of paint on my front and rear bumper, which is already wrinkling around it contact points.
Turn OFF From NAV
I stopped by my dealer today and talked with the staff there with no luck. They seemed to have very little clue about what to do. I don't think Mitsubishi trains their staff well enough on the cars before they have them sell them. There may be a service screen that can be accessed through the navigation, but it will not be easy to find. My parts manager is trying to help me find a solution to turning them off or having them shut off. he said he thinks form his digging do far it may be something that the dealer can hook up their computer to and shut off, but he is still checking.
