after market fan

after market fan

ok, i just realize that my fans turns on and off, i thought when u turn the car the fans also goes on to cool the headers, can i put a after market 1 if so what is a good 1?

They come with a "universal" kit for installation. But I dont know if it will work for our cars. It should be pretty easy to bolt up. Or zip tie.

You're silly! The fan is too cool the radiator and the coolant. It has nothing to do with cooling the header. If anything, you could wrap your header in "header wrap"...

its a fan....it blows air....so I am guessing it may cool the header down a little if you have it pulling air through the radiator.

It cant hurt.

Allow me to rephrase...its design is to cool the radiator and the coolant. It may "cool" the header, not by design, but minimal at best.

i removed my heavy steel fan on the engine side , left the other one, never put it back in car never overheats, one is fine for new york weather. plus about 25 lbs off your car.

yeah i should prolly buy another one, i had to take off both of mine on the inside and im only running 1, 10 inch on the front left side of the radiator

how about if i just take both off and get 1 12'' slim fan??, it will be much much lighter
