It seems the same. Haven't noticed a change. We'll see the next time I go out to Kingston if I still get 103.5 in Brighton.

If you have the GPS antenna, the shark fin is not gonna fit. The site is deceiving and says that it "may not" fit. I e-mailed them about this and this is their response.

"Unfortunately, the 2008 Lancer with the GPS/Satellite radio antenna is not current compatible with our shark fin antenna, it is too large to fit underneath. We are considering developing a new model of shark fin antenna to be compatible with cars that have a larger antenna base, but we don't have any solid dates of when it will be coming out yet."

I think they should change their site to say that it "will not" work....

well that is a bummer i really liked how that looked, now every time i look at my car im gonna think about that ugly antenna i have. anyone know of a nice mini antenna that fits well on our car? i saw a pic of a perrin antenna i think and the diameter of the antenna was off from the base so it looked weird.

I have the 2 inch perrin on mine. I like it cuz its real short, and as long as u screw it on tight enough, u don't see the gap unless you get up close to it. when the shark fin is made to fit over the gps, im considering switching to that to make it look a little more stream lined. i dont like how theres that big blob there on the front of the antenna...

yeah if they make a new shark fin to fit over the gps/sirius antenna base then ill be sure to get it on my ralliart but for now on my GTS i just bought the ebay antenna. go on ebay and put in 2008 lancer antenna and its the only one that pops up. looks much nicer then the perrin antennas and is meant for our car.

if it has the swivel base (the one where the antenna can be pushed forward almost parallel with the roof) then the answer is yes it will.

Nothing personal but I'm gonna pass...I have a tendency of holding on to the stock stuff in case I ever feel the need to put it back on...Wouldn't want to lose reception..Talk to your service guy they may replace it for you.

Back on topic,, If you have the antenna base that looks like to following then the VG fin will fit.

Cheers

ya they said use tape, but its still inaccurate and l managed to misalign the first time, but as long as you don't press it down after you remove the sticky backing you should be able to realign it no prob.

Color-matched sharkfin antenna arrived today but haven't had a chance to install it yet. Hope its quick and painless.
