So here is my situation, I have a set of Corbeau CR1's and would like to install them in my 08 lancer ES. I have seen a couple of posts about brackets for the evo x ( I'm assuming the evo x and 08 lancer share the same dimensions, correct anyone?) and I haven't seen any diffinitive answers to which bracket will fit the 08 lancer. I'm brand new to all this, so if I get a response, please dumb it down to my level. I would like to maintain the adjustability with sliders, if that makes a difference. Also, I have seen that the passenger seat belt is attached to the seat, I guess this means using some sort of harness, whether it is a four point or other. What attatches the harness to the chair, is there major modification needed to do this? Thank you all for any help.

 

when i did my 02 lancer, i bought the evo brackets and had my shop guy modify them (ie drill 2 holes, easy stuff) to accept the sliders. Get the evo brackets and take everything to a reputable shop. They can fix it up.
The seatbelt I believe just swapped from the stock bracket to the modified one. No harness or anything like that needed.
