2011 Lancer GTS - Trying to get the climate control brezel off so that I can cover it with carbon fiber vinyl. I've got the glove box, upper trim piece, cd deck face plate and caution light electronics removed. Also have the middle console off and shifter boot etc. off. But can't figure out how to get the center parts out. Am also wanting to cover the trim for the 2 storage areas in front of the shifter. The one is the ash tray, the other is where the AUX input is at. Any ideas on how to get these pieces out? I also tried pulling on the HVAC knobs to see if they would pop off, no go. Any help is appreciated.

Like most economy cars, you probably have to man-handle them. That's what I liked about older cars...all trim was held in place by visible screws.

 

Hey I was thinking about covering all the sliver plastic pieces in my lancer with carbon fiber vinyl but i'm not sure how to take them things off can you tell me how to get them off
