Question Fog lights + Amp Conflict HELPPPP

Hi guys i m drivivng a 2010 DE lancer and recently i got my Amp installed yesterday i noticed that as soon as i turn my FOg lights on the Amp cuts out. when i turn them off it turns back on.
After alittle while My fog lights stopped working so in conclusion when i turn the switch on for fog lights the amp turns off but the fog lights dont turn on.
Any help guys is it bad wiring on the amp.
The place where i got it installed from said that this is the way my car is designed which i think IS BS.
The place i got my amp installation done from is Jake Tech in Toronto...
Midland and ellesmere.

They could have messed up and connected the relay to the Fog Light power or fuse. It should be hooked up straight to the battery. Take it back to them, legally they have to fix the problem. It sucks when you take it to someone that's supposed to be professional and it turns out you were better off doing it yourself. My co-worker had his civic audio done there 2 years ago, no problems that he could remember, but places change.

Best of luck brother,

So i took the car back to these guys and now they are like my car cant handle the amp and fog lights at the same time.. all BS i think my amp is not even that high power.
Jake told me that i have to pay himagain and they will make a toggle switch in the car which will make me alternate the fog llight and amp to come on one at a time.
I dont think i want them to do anything on my car again Do u know any good car audio install places that i can take it to get it all running.

That's a load of Bull **** they aren't going to fix a faulty install. If I was you I would go to BBB of Canada, or threaten them to give you some cash back. You don't want to pay an idiot to fix a problem they created, that does not scream SCAM at all... Where abouts are you located? I'm assuming East End? I can't name any specific shops, but if you want a definate pro install, Best Buy. They at least are a large chain, if anything goes wrong with install they will pay for its fix. My boy got a $1650.00 sound system there inc. install and it's perfectly wired. Get them to check if they spliced the amp into a lighting power source, they probably were to lazy to run a wire to through the firewall. I would fix it for you myself but I'm in Richmond Hill, and working 45 graveyard shift hours. Anyway best of luck dude, that serriously is not right that these guys won't fix it.
