airbag fuse? is there one? book doesn't say

I checked the manual and it lists all the fuses and what they are but there is no airbag fuse in the book. Is there one and if so which one is it?

it would be srs fuse but i dont believe cars have them as they need straight power and a fuse could break causing the airbags to not work and then their is a lawsuit.

well I want to take the steering wheel airbag off to look and see if I can replace the leds or whatever is lighting the steering wheel controls up so if I take it off as it I should be ok?

you have to disconnect your battery and leave it disconnected while you work. dont touch the car for 30sec and disconnection eather. if you dont you can blow up all your airbags.

alright thats what I thought...thank you.

you may get an airbag light after reinstalling the airbag. air bag srs systems have back up lithium batteries that keep memory so even with the battery disconnected you could still get an airbag light causing a reset by the dealer needed...mine charged 100 when i installed my recaro seats and they threatened to take away my warranty.

that would only be if I actually unplugged it though wouldn't it....I just dont want it to blow up in my face:P
