Guys, i need some assistance with my HID's. I read the instructions but I would like for someone who knows what they are doing to get the job done for me. I'll pay, but I just need to find someone down here in Miami, FL (Kendall preferred.)

Are you just putting an HID kit into your stock halogen headlights?
If so, it's pretty much plug and play, minus mounting your ballasts somewhere.

The Website @eric_drummer_ca put up has a video for lancers that shows how HID's are put in. check it out.

I bought the kit that Eric posted on here. Went in with no issues (flicker). Have had it in for about a week now and still had no issues.

Did you just get the Ballasts and bulbs? or Did you also get the harness and anti-flicker device?

I bought the full kit with the capacitor and wiring harness. You have to buy the harnes because when they ship it all to you they only give you the 2 ballasts and 2 bulbs. They don't give you the harness to stretch accross from the battery to the passenger side, so if you dont order that then you would have to either fabricate your own harness or buy it seperately. Take my advice and just buy the whole kit. It will save you a lot of time. As far as installation goes it was fairly easy, just MAKE SURE that you ground it properly or else it will not work.
The anti-flicker capacitor to solve the DRL issue is a neccesity as well. I did not try to turn the lights on without it but from what I can understand if you don't get the capacitor you will have issues with HID-flicker which will in turn can cause you to blow your bulbs prematurely from the on/off flickering.

Also I forgot to mention, when you install the HID's with the full kit from xenonsupply.com (capacitor and harness) you will still have DRL's. The kit will cause your lights to still come on when the engine is running. Therefore unless you do the DRL bypass they will still come on. I personally have no issue with it but others seem to (personal preferrence). Also, I went with the 6k light's. I did a little research and I'm pretty sure this is common knowledge but after 6k you start losing brightness and start going more for color. I know this doesn't seem like a big deal but if you purchase your HID's for a real world application (being able to see better while driving), then it seems kind of detrimental to get lower brightness lights. Plus, again personal preference here, but I personally feel that bright blue/purple/orange lights seem a bit ricer like to me. No offense to those that have them
