Installed HID's

I installed HID's (Low Beams) and my High beams (Halogen) stopped working.

The strange thing is my low beam HID's only turn on when I turn on high beams. and my fog lights are able to turn on when my turn on high beams as well insane I don't know what to do?

I used a harness and a warning canceller to install my hid's

Something happened to my sisters 12 GTS except on one side. Made sure the HID bulb and ballasts weren't the issue. Her car was still under warranty and took it to Mitsu and apparently a relay fried. Not sure if the HID kit caused it (Xentec slim kit) ..but my sister decided to stick with OEM bulbs and hasn't had the issue since.

Hid are single filament.

Your car probably has 1 bulb for both high and low.

So double filament. Power only travels through the hid either high or low beam cause the bulb only has 1 filament

1. You don't need a warning canceler.
2. Ensure the 'input' to the relay is the low beam socket.
3. If you are not using a relay between the HID ballast and the low beam socket - you need a relay. I used the J-Roxx relay.

Provide a link to the kit you are using.

(OP has two sockets/two bulbs for high and low beams)
